To solve the above-mentioned tasks the Director General of “Institut Giprostroymost” JSC issued an order setting up the Product assurance department (1 June 2001). Further development of the system was carried out by his successors. Efficient performance of the Department is proved by successful passing the supervisory and recertification audits. Early in 2009 the Institute quality management system was updated according to the new standard of ISO 9000-2000. In April 2009 recertification audit was carried out successfully, and as a result the certification area expanded (design and engineering survey for bridges and other man-made structures in the field of traffic facilities construction) and a new certificate with a 3-year term of validity was granted to the Institute. |
