Our history

Our company was founded in the post-war period. On 26th August, 1945 the Central Design Engineering Bureau of the Ministry of Railroads was formed by a decree of the State Committee of Defence. Over time the name of the company changed several times, and since 1994 it has been called “Institut Giprostroymost” JSC.

Self-regulating organization based on the membership of people engaged in working out design documentation has granted the Institute Competency certificate №0546-2011-7717024079-П-065 dt. 28 February 2011, permitting to carry out certain kinds of work which can have impact on the security of entities of capital construction.

Setting up a new department

On September 16th a new department of technological coordination and project development in the Primorye Territory was set up in Vladivostok to cope with the increased amount of work and to take operative decisions connected with the design of a unique cable stayed bridge across Bosporus the Eastern Strait.
